Unauthorised sales - warning!

Autoboss Tech inc have released an official statement concerning the sales of unauthorised and pirated units being sold worldwide.

There are so called companies in China claiming to be able to supply European spec units with updates and warranty ...this is not true. 

Official units sold in China come with chinese language only, any that have english language have been hacked or are clones/copies and cannot be updated.

Most "trading companies" in china are actually just 1 or 2 persons with a website who will take your money and run. Unfortunately some companies here in the UK are taken in by them and attempt to re-sell them here as official units.

Also, due to a theft earlier this year there are some stolen UK units on the market, these have all been blocked from updates, and will also get no warranty support.

If it sounds to good to be true it probably is!

We receive regular phone calls from customers who have bought hacked or import units and cannot update them, with any aftermarket tool it is critical to be able to receive the regular software updates to benefit from the bug fixes and extra models/systems being added. Without these the supposed bargain tool is a complete waste of money.

As well as warranty support, we also provide technical help with all aspects of using the tool, a cheap tool is worthless if you are stuck attempting to perform a procedure with no one to help, sadly most people only find this out when it is too late!

We are the only official Autoboss distributors for the UK and Ireland, only units supplied by ourselves or our dealer network are official UK units that will be able to access the UK specific software that we are developing such as MG/Rover.
